Why Trickle Down Economics don’t work
According to Congressional Republicans for the past 4 years have advocated that they don’t want the Bush Tax Cuts to end on the job creators (top 1%) because they are the ones that create jobs. According the Mitt Romney the duly elected Republican Leader continues to state that 23 million Americans are unemployed, and the recovery is too slow.
So why are Americans continuing to give Tax Cuts to job creators, in which according to Mitt Romney is, who are not creating jobs. According to Mitt Romney “Government doesn’t create jobs” but then says he as President of the United States will create 12 million jobs. If that is not a conflicting statement than I don’t know what is.
Mitt Romney also states that prices for products have doubled in the United States. That to me means economic growth must be working if people are able to buy and pay for those said products.
The reason why trickle down economics don’t work is simple as Mitt Romney says himself, there are 23 million Americans unemployed even though the so called job creators (top 1%) have been receiving a lower tax rate since George W Bush implemented it.
Its time to let the Bush Tax Cuts to end and return to the proven tax levels that created 22.7 million jobs during Bill Clinton’s Democratic Presidency. Which President Barack Obama has advocated since the beginning of his Presidency, but due to the obstructionism of the Republican Party Congress has been unable to govern and end the Bush Tax Cuts.
